The tan leather backing is a nice touch—it keeps the strap from feeling sticky against my wrist even on warm days. Cutting it down to fit was straightforward, and once trimmed, it clicked securely into my ratcheting buckle without any fuss.

The width is exactly right for my 1.38" buckle, and the leather's already starting to soften up nicely after a few wears. Only gripe is the tan backing shows at the edges a bit more than I'd like, but it's a solid strap for the price.
