The powder-coated finish feels tough and grippy, not slick like most buckles I’ve owned. Those two set screws held my strap firmly through a week of rough use, and the granite black matches my belt perfectly.
Used it daily for three weeks now and the two set screws haven't budged once, even through some rough pocket time. The textured coating gives it a nice grip when you're cinching the strap down. Solid little upgrade.
